Project Description

Water is a basic human right, yet in Gaza it has become a rare luxury. With over 90% of the water supply contaminated and unfit for drinking, families are forced to consume unsafe water, leading to severe health risks such as chronic diarrhea, kidney diseases, and even polio. Children are the most vulnerable, and thousands walk long distances daily just to collect small amounts of water.
License Number: C 1 / T J K 1 / 2025
Approval Start Date: August 19, 2025
Approval Expires: December 31, 2025
Cash collections are prohibited.
The administrative percentage does not exceed 12.5%, based on the instructions of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The importance of the project

The Water Relief Project in Gaza aims to provide clean and safe drinking water for displaced families across hospitals, refugee schools, shelters, and temporary camps. This project is not only about quenching thirst – it is about preserving life, restoring dignity, and offering hope in the midst of hardship. Supporting this initiative is a lasting charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), ensuring continuous rewards while directly saving lives.
