Project Description

Feeding Africa aims to provide nutritious meals to the most vulnerable families in areas suffering from poverty, malnutrition, and drought. In Somalia, Benin, Uganda, Chad, and Tanzania, hunger is worsening daily due to poverty, drought, and protracted conflicts. Millions of families live below the poverty line, children suffer from life-threatening acute malnutrition, and mothers stand helpless before empty tables. In Chad and Uganda in particular, the suffering of Sudanese refugees who fled conflict is increasing, as they find themselves in camps lacking sufficient food and basic services.
