Namaa Charity implements Iftar project in Yemen
As part of its ongoing efforts to provide assistance to the most needy, Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, announced the implementation of the Iftar Project in Yemen. This project is being implemented in partnership with several local humanitarian organizations, with the aim of distributing food baskets to the most needy families during the holy month of Ramadan.
In this regard, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Kandari, Deputy CEO of Namaa Charity, stated: “The Iftar Project in Yemen comes as part of Namaa Charity’s commitment to supporting our Yemeni brothers and sisters during the difficult circumstances they are experiencing. Through our distinguished partnerships with local charitable organizations, we are working to deliver food aid to the most needy families, ensuring iftar reaches the tables of those fasting in various affected areas.”
Al-Kandari added: “At Namaa Charity, we believe that effective humanitarian work depends on sound planning and fruitful cooperation. From this standpoint, we have been keen to implement this project in cooperation with trusted organizations in Yemen, ensuring that aid reaches those who deserve it effectively and efficiently.” Al-Kandari concluded his remarks by saying, "We are determined to continue these humanitarian efforts and expand the scope of support, ensuring a sustainable positive impact on the lives of beneficiaries and enhancing their living stability during this holy month."
For his part, Saeed Saad Al-Bahsani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hadhramout Foundation for Human Development, praised the strategic partnership between the Hadhramout Foundation and Namaa Charity, considering it a model of joint humanitarian action that has a direct impact on those in need.
Al-Bahsani said, "This fruitful cooperation reflects the commitment of both parties to the values of solidarity and humanitarian support. Together, we are committed to delivering food aid to the most needy Yemeni families, contributing to alleviating their suffering during the holy month of Ramadan. Namaa Charity's initiatives also demonstrate its deep commitment to its humanitarian mission, and we appreciate its ongoing efforts to enhance human security for our people in Yemen." Al-Bahsani added, "We extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait, its leadership and people, for their continued support of the Yemeni people. Kuwaiti charitable work is a fundamental pillar in supporting those in need around the world, especially in Yemen, where their generous hands have extended to aid those in distress and alleviate the suffering of those afflicted, in light of the difficult humanitarian challenges facing Yemen."
Al-Bahsani emphasized that these efforts are part of a series of initiatives implemented by Namaa Charity to support those in need across various regions of Yemen. The foundation always strives to provide humanitarian assistance to achieve a sustainable positive impact on the lives of beneficiaries.
He concluded by saying, "The Ramadan relief campaign affirms Namaa Charity's commitment to its humanitarian mission of promoting the values of solidarity and mutual support, and its prominent role in providing humanitarian aid through its local and international partnerships, reflecting Kuwait's vision as a world-leading charitable organization."
