Namaa Charity continues to support Gaza residents by distributing food baskets, benefiting 1,000 people.
Amid the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, and the ongoing suffering of families due to food shortages and lack of basic necessities, Namaa Charity, part of the Social Reform Society, continues its relief efforts to alleviate the suffering of affected families. It implemented a food basket distribution project targeting the most vulnerable families, benefiting approximately 1,000 people in several areas of the Strip.
These efforts come at a time when Gaza residents are suffering from dire living conditions due to the scarcity of basic resources, high poverty rates, and damaged infrastructure. This has exacerbated the food security crisis, particularly for children, women, and the elderly, who face daily challenges in securing their basic needs.
In this context, Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim, Head of Communications at Namaa Charity, part of the Social Reform Society, affirmed that the food basket distribution project is part of an urgent humanitarian response to support the people of the Gaza Strip, given the exceptional circumstances they are experiencing. Al-Ibrahim explained that the food baskets helped provide basic necessities for beneficiary families and alleviated their hunger and daily suffering. He noted that Namaa Charity is committed to implementing these projects according to precise field mechanisms to ensure that aid reaches those who deserve it.
He added that the humanitarian situation in Gaza requires continued relief efforts and intensified support, especially with the increasing number of families in need and the difficulty of accessing food sources regularly. He emphasized that children and women are the most affected by these circumstances.
He pointed out that these initiatives are an extension of the humanitarian role played by the State of Kuwait, both its leadership and its people, in supporting their Palestinian brothers and sisters, and embody the values of solidarity and compassion that characterize Kuwaiti society.
Al-Ibrahim concluded his statement by expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the generous donors, whose contributions have had a direct impact on alleviating the suffering of families in the Gaza Strip. He called for continued support for humanitarian projects that contribute to saving lives and strengthening the resilience of the people.
