With Kuwaiti support and under the supervision of Namaa Charity, the "Mishari Al-Ghazali" Mosque was inaugurated in Jordan.

In a scene embodying the values ​​of Islamic generosity and solidarity, Kuwaiti charitable organizations continue their humanitarian presence by supporting mosque construction projects and the upkeep of houses of worship in various Arab and Islamic countries, reaffirming their mission to promote charitable endowments and strengthen fraternal ties between peoples.

In this context, the Jordanian capital, Amman, witnessed the opening of the "Mishari Al-Ghazali" Mosque on Saturday, May 9, 2026, with the support of the Kuwaiti philanthropist Mishari Al-Ghazali and under the supervision of Namaa Charity.

Jordanian Praise for Kuwaiti Charitable Role

During his speech at the opening ceremony, the Jordanian Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khalaileh, praised the charitable and humanitarian role played by Kuwaiti philanthropists in supporting mosque construction projects and the upkeep of houses of worship. He emphasized the importance of building mosques both materially and spiritually, noting that these charitable projects reflect the deep fraternal relations that unite Jordan and Kuwait.

Supporting Islamic Endowment Projects

For his part, Khaled Al-Shamri, Head of the Development and Relief Sector at Namaa Charity, stated that the opening of the “Mishari Al-Ghazali” Mosque is part of the mission of the Social Reform Society and Namaa Charity to support Islamic endowment projects and contribute to the construction and maintenance of mosques in various brotherly and friendly countries.

Al-Shamri explained that Namaa Charity received the donation and oversaw the entire project implementation, in cooperation with official authorities in Jordan, until its completion according to the highest engineering and service standards.

He added that the mosque represents a significant addition for the residents of the area, as it can accommodate approximately one thousand worshippers and includes various facilities serving religious, social, and educational needs.

It is worth noting that the mosque occupies an area of ​​1,400 square meters spread over three floors. It includes prayer halls for men and women, a multi-purpose hall, an imam's residence, and comprehensive service facilities. The total cost of the project reached approximately 400,000 Jordanian dinars (US$560,000).
