Namaa Charity opens 10 wells and 5 mosques in Benin

Namaa Charity, a branch of the Social Reform Society, inaugurated 10 water wells and 5 mosques in the Republic of Benin, benefiting more than 20,000 people. This initiative is part of its humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable communities and promoting a dignified life in areas plagued by resource scarcity and a lack of basic services.

Sustainable Impact: Field Surveys Ensure Aid Reached

Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy CEO of Namaa Charity, stated that these projects were implemented following thorough field studies and surveys to ensure aid reached the most needy groups and regions, thus achieving a sustainable humanitarian and developmental impact.

Al-Kandari added that the well-drilling projects represent a lifeline for thousands of families who previously suffered from a lack of clean water and were forced to travel long distances daily to obtain it. He noted that these projects directly contribute to improving public health and preserving human dignity.

He noted that Namaa Charity pays special attention to building mosques in needy areas, to serve as religious and social beacons that contribute to strengthening awareness and values among the residents. He pointed out that the targeted villages suffer from weak infrastructure and a lack of basic services, making these projects an urgent humanitarian necessity.

Kuwaiti Charity: A Message of Giving

Al-Kandari emphasized that Kuwaiti charitable work continues to fulfill its humanitarian mission around the world, supported by generous donors, despite the challenges, embodying the bright image of the State of Kuwait and its pioneering role in providing relief to those in need and supporting affected communities.
