Al-Bassam: Namaa Charity implemented four qualitative projects within correctional institutions as part of the "Sandhem" initiative.
On the sidelines of his visit to the Central Prison, accompanied by charitable associations and charities, to review Namaa Charity's projects and discuss establishing additional projects, Walid Al-Bassam, Head of the Projects and Development Sector at Namaa Charity at the Social Reform Society, said: "We extend our sincere thanks to the Ministry of Interior for the unique opportunities it has provided, which have borne fruit in the construction of several buildings within the Central Prison as part of the first phase of the Sandhom Initiative. Today, at the beginning of the second phase, we affirm our commitment to continuing this journey, as we adopt a new package of projects aimed at enhancing community care for inmates and achieving the lofty goals of reform, empowerment, and social reintegration." Al-Bassam explained: "The close cooperation between Namaa Charity, the National Bureau for Human Rights and Human Development, and the Ministry of Interior on this project represents an honorable model of constructive partnerships between state institutions and the charitable sector.
