Namaa Charity distributed food baskets to displaced people in northern Gaza.
As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support needy families in crisis areas, Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, announced the implementation of a food basket distribution project for displaced people in northern Gaza. This project, implemented in cooperation with its partners approved by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is part of a strategic partnership aimed at providing urgent support to the most vulnerable families.
The project responds to urgent humanitarian needs. Food baskets were provided to 155 families, representing approximately 930 individuals, including affected workers and displaced families, in areas suffering from difficult living conditions due to ongoing displacement and economic pressures. Namaa Charity affirms its commitment to ensuring that support reaches those who deserve it efficiently and transparently.
Khaled Mubarak Al-Shamri, Head of the Development and Relief Sector at Namaa Charity, said: "We have ensured that the distribution is organized to ensure that the baskets reach the eligible families directly, taking into account the specific needs of each family."
Al-Shammari added, "This initiative represents an extension of Namaa Charity's humanitarian approach, which combines strategic planning with effective field implementation. We are committed to providing food support to vulnerable families at home and abroad, while ensuring the highest standards of integrity and transparency, reflecting Kuwait's humanitarian message at the regional and international levels."
He continued, "We believe that humanitarian partnerships are the path to achieving a tangible and sustainable impact. This initiative has proven that cooperation between Namaa Charity and partner organizations can make a real difference in the lives of families in need and reflects the power of organized and planned charitable work."
Al-Shammari added, "The success of this initiative would not have been possible without the directives of the wise leadership, which has made Kuwait a model for humanitarian work at the regional and international levels. We would also like to thank all the donors who have given their trust and generous support, ensuring that food aid reaches those in need in northern Gaza directly and urgently."
