On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Al-Kandari: We at Namaa Charity renew our commitment to supporting cancer patients.

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, which falls on February 4th of each year, Namaa Charity, part of the Social Reform Society, affirmed its commitment to continuing its efforts to treat cancer patients through the "Hope" project, which targets residents unable to afford medication. The project is being implemented in partnership with the General Secretariat of Endowments and the Positive Support Foundation, in addition to the recently signed partnership agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in Jordan.

In this context, Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy CEO of Namaa Charity, stated: "We celebrate World Cancer Day by renewing our commitment to supporting cancer patients, stemming from our humanitarian and social responsibility." He explained that Namaa Charity does not only provide treatment, but also strives to provide psychological and social support to patients through its effective partnerships with specialized medical institutions, ensuring they receive comprehensive care on their journey to recovery.

Al-Kandari pointed out that Namaa Charity, through these initiatives, seeks to provide treatment and psychological support to cancer patients, in line with Kuwait's vision to enhance its humanitarian and medical efforts. He added that the project has benefited 130 patients in Kuwait, 13 Syrian refugee patients in Turkey, and 13 patients in Jordan, in a strategic partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Center.

Al-Kandari explained that Namaa Charity has entered into a partnership agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation to establish a special fund in the name of Namaa Charity to support the treatment of cancer patients from the Gaza Strip of various nationalities and ages. He added that this step reflects Namaa's vision for sustainable development and its commitment to providing healthcare to the most needy groups.

Al-Kandari also emphasized that the project aligns with Kuwait's vision to enhance humanitarian and healthcare efforts globally, as Namaa Charity continues to support healthcare institutions inside and outside Kuwait to contribute to providing the best possible care for cancer patients.

On this occasion, Al-Kandari expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the State of Kuwait. His Highness the Amir, the government, and the people, commended the country's pioneering role in supporting humanitarian causes, praising the efforts of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health and institutions involved in combating cancer, which have made Kuwait a global model in supporting healthcare and scientific research to combat the disease.
