Namaa Charity: 332 food baskets for 2,324 displaced people in western Yemen

Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Kuwaiti Social Reform Society, distributed 332 comprehensive food baskets in the Tihama region of western Yemen to 2,324 displaced persons and orphans as part of the "Kuwait by Your Side" campaign, now in its 11th consecutive year.
Ibrahim Al-Sanea, Director of Marketing at Namaa Charity, said in a press statement last Sunday that the campaign aims to alleviate the suffering of displaced and affected families, enhance food security for widows and orphans, and contribute to bridging the food gap and shortage of food resources.
Al-Sanea expressed his thanks and appreciation to the people of Kuwait for their generous and continuous humanitarian support, calling for continued support for Namaa Charity's ongoing humanitarian mission in various affected countries. For his part, Majdi bin Harhara, Executive Director of the Yemeni Al-Rufaq Association for Human Development, which is implementing the project, said: "By reaching the most needy families, Kuwaiti support instills hope in the hearts of those in need and embodies a genuine humanitarian commitment to those affected by the harsh living and economic conditions in Yemen."
Harhara praised the active role of Namaa Charity, which extends humanitarian aid to those in need in a number of Yemeni governorates. He expressed his gratitude to the charitable people in Kuwait, who have been and continue to be a source of smiles on the faces of their deprived brothers and sisters in Yemen.
