Minister of Social Affairs Honors Namaa Charity
Al-Kandari: Namaa Charity will remain present wherever its impact is felt in all areas of loyalty
Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy CEO of Namaa Charity at the Social Reform Society, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the Ministry of Social Affairs' honoring of Namaa Charity during its sponsorship of the Gulf Forum for the Quality of Life of the Elderly, which was held under an umbrella of appreciation for the group that made history and built the first building blocks of our authentic Kuwaiti society.
Al-Kandari said: "This honor is not just a badge of honor for Namaa, but rather a reflection of a genuine Kuwaiti vision that views the charitable sector as a genuine partner in shaping the landscape of care and development, especially for the elderly, those who toiled so that we may rest and taught us so that we may rise."
He added, "We extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to Her Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila, whose honoring of Namaa Charity embodies the message that official Kuwait values loyalty and blesses every sincere effort that serves humanity. We also extend our special thanks to His Excellency the Undersecretary, Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, for his tireless follow-up and continuous support of institutional charitable work."
Al-Kandari emphasized that Namaa's sponsorship of this forum stems from a firm belief that charitable work is not complete unless it touches the hearts of those who have devoted their lives to giving. He emphasized that the advancement of society is not measured by the modernity of buildings, but by the elevation of values and human dignity, especially those who have reached the end of their lives and whose souls yearn for compassion, honor, and companionship.
He continued, "The elderly are not merely an age group; they are the memory of the nation, the spirit of the family, and the origin of goodness. It is a matter of loyalty to restore their consideration in policies, plans, and community initiatives, not as a burden, but rather as a source of wisdom and stability."
Al-Kandari concluded his statement by saying, "Namaa Charity will remain wherever its impact is felt, present in all arenas of loyalty, and raising the banner of solidarity and compassion. This honor obliges us to continue and advance, not because we seek applause, but because we believe that giving, when coupled with pure intention, creates a lasting impact."
