Namaa Charity: Strong National Partnerships to Promote Social Responsibility and Build a Conscious Generation
Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy CEO of Namaa Charity at the Social Reform Society, affirmed that the conclusion of the "This Is Your Turn" volunteer event marks a significant milestone in Namaa's journey of community partnership, which it is keen to support and strengthen with various state entities. He noted that Namaa Charity's recognition at this event is a culmination of its active role in development work aimed at building a conscious and responsible generation.
In a press statement, Al-Kandari said that Namaa Charity's participation in the "This Is Your Turn" campaign stems from a firm belief that youth are the true wealth of the nation, and that investing in their awareness and volunteerism is an investment in Kuwait's future. This participation aimed to support and motivate students to invest their time in serving their country, strengthening values of belonging and loyalty, and instilling in them a culture of responsibility towards their environment and community.
He added: “This campaign was not just a cleanup event, but a profound educational and developmental message aimed at engaging students in serving their community and reinforcing the concept of protecting the environment and public facilities as a national duty. At Namaa, we believe that partnership with government entities is a fundamental pillar for developing community work and instilling a culture of giving in the hearts of the younger generation.”
Al-Kandari explained that Namaa Charity places great importance on supporting school and youth volunteer activities as part of its social responsibility, saying: “At Namaa, we work to empower young people and direct their energies towards beneficial work, and enhance their participation in national initiatives, which contributes to building a generation capable of leading development and creating a sustainable positive impact.”
Al-Kandari concluded his statement by thanking the Ministry of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Ahmadi Governorate, the Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer, and all participating entities for their pioneering role in supporting volunteer work, emphasizing that Namaa Charity will continue its national partnerships to achieve a conscious and prosperous community environment and instill the values of goodness and giving in the hearts of future generations.
