The Athar Volunteer Center at Namaa Charity distributes clothing to 400 workers at Kuwait University in active student partnership.

As part of its humanitarian mission and ongoing efforts to support working groups and promote the values ​​of social solidarity, the Athar Social Center at Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, implemented a humanitarian initiative to distribute clothing to 400 workers at Kuwait University. This initiative was carried out in active partnership with Kuwait University students and under the supervision and implementation of the Athar Volunteer Center, which is part of Namaa Charity.

This initiative came as an appreciation for the workers' contributions and daily efforts, embodying the values ​​of gratitude and humanity, and reinforcing the culture of volunteer work and community partnership within educational institutions.

In a press statement, Khaled Mubarak Al-Shamari, Head of the Development and Relief Sector at Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, said: “This initiative stems from Namaa Charity’s belief that humanitarian work is not limited to providing material support, but extends to instilling a culture of loyalty and appreciation for all those who contribute to building and serving society silently and sincerely.” Al-Shamri added: “Distributing clothing to 400 workers at Kuwait University is a humanitarian message before it is a relief project. Through it, we affirm that these workers are partners in the success of our institutions, and that our humanitarian duty compels us to stand by them, especially in light of the increasingly challenging living conditions.”

He pointed out that the partnership with Kuwait University students reflects the awareness of the younger generation regarding the importance of volunteer work, emphasizing that Namaa is keen to involve youth in field initiatives to enhance their sense of social responsibility and build future leaders for humanitarian work.

For her part, Abeer Yousef Al-Hajras, Director of the Athar Volunteer Center at Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, confirmed that the distribution process was carried out in a humane manner that preserves the dignity of the beneficiaries. She said: “The Athar Center was keen to ensure that the clothing distribution was carried out with a noble humanitarian spirit, touching hearts before hands, and making the beneficiaries feel appreciated and respected.
