Namaa Charity continues to provide relief to the people of Gaza: clothing, water, and baby formula, thanks to Kuwaiti humanitarian efforts.
As part of its ongoing humanitarian commitment to supporting those affected in the Gaza Strip, Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, implemented a package of urgent relief projects. These included distributing clothing, baby formula, and potable water to affected families, as part of a comprehensive humanitarian response aimed at alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable groups, particularly children, women, and the elderly, amidst the dire humanitarian conditions in the Strip.
Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy CEO of Namaa Charity, stated that these projects stem from Namaa Charity's deeply rooted humanitarian mission and its moral obligation to stand with its brothers and sisters in Gaza. He emphasized that "Namaa Charity works to provide basic necessities that preserve human dignity and meet the requirements of daily life during times of crisis."
Al-Kandari explained that the clothing project targeted the most affected families, especially children, to provide them with clothes to protect them from the elements and alleviate the burdens weighing on families. He noted that the clothing was carefully selected to meet the beneficiaries' needs and provide them with a minimum level of stability and peace of mind. He added that distributing infant formula was a pressing humanitarian priority given the severe shortage of basic food supplies. He explained that the project focused on supporting infants and young children, who are the most vulnerable group, thus contributing to their health protection and reducing the risks resulting from malnutrition.
Al-Kandari also pointed out that the drinking water distribution project comes in response to the damage to infrastructure and water scarcity in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that providing water is a fundamental pillar for maintaining public health and preventing diseases, especially in densely populated areas.
Al-Kandari stressed that Namaa Charity is committed to implementing all its relief projects in full coordination with accredited entities and in accordance with the official frameworks approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in cooperation with trusted field partners. This ensures the safety of implementation, the proper allocation of donations, and the transparent and responsible delivery of aid to those who need it. Al-Kandari explained that these projects have benefited a large number of needy families in the Gaza Strip, as part of a comprehensive relief plan aimed at maximizing humanitarian impact and ensuring the sustainability of aid. He emphasized that Namaa Charity continues to fulfill its relief role according to well-considered priorities that respond to actual needs on the ground.
In closing, Al-Kandari expressed his deepest gratitude to the generous donors and the people of Kuwait for their generous contributions and trust in Namaa Charity. He commended the unwavering support that Kuwaiti charitable work has always been known for. He also expressed his profound appreciation to His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, for their gracious patronage of Kuwait's humanitarian approach, which has made it a beacon of charitable and humanitarian work worldwide.
