Namaa Charity signed a cooperation agreement with the Public Authority for Disability Affairs

Dr. Dalal Al-Othman, Director General of the Public Authority for Disability Affairs, affirmed the Authority's commitment, in accordance with Kuwait Vision 2035, to implementing the concepts of social and institutional inclusion for people with disabilities.

Speaking during the signing of an agreement with the Namaa Charitable Society, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, on Wednesday, Dr. Al-Othman stated, "The Authority is working to support all initiatives that contribute to this goal. It is also working to activate the provisions of Law No. 8/2010 concerning the rights of persons with disabilities. This includes preparing and overseeing a comprehensive action plan that encompasses all plans related to the care and rehabilitation of people with disabilities, in coordination with relevant state agencies. This plan aims to ensure equal opportunities, non-discrimination in rights based on disability, capacity building, skills development, and the promotion of their integration into society."

She added, "For all these reasons, we are working to strengthen cooperation with civil society organizations and charitable entities in improving services provided to people with disabilities, offering them in-kind support, and developing the Authority's facilities. The cooperation agreement was signed, and we hope to successfully implement all its provisions."
