Namaa Charity contributes to supporting 1,000 male and female students through the “Teach Me and I Will Reward You” project.

In a move that reflects its deep commitment to supporting the educational process and assisting underprivileged students, Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, announced the success of the "Teach Me, I Will Reward You" project, enabling 1,000 male and female students to complete their studies during the 2024-2025 academic year.

This project was implemented in cooperation with the General Secretariat of Endowments, represented by the Endowment Fund for Scientific and Social Development, in compliance with the donor's conditions stipulated in the endowment documents.

In this context, Mr. Walid Al-Bassam, Head of the Projects and Development Sector at Namaa Charity, emphasized that the project is not limited to providing financial support to students, but rather seeks to reduce the phenomenon of school dropout and provide educational opportunities for deserving orphans and low-income students. He emphasized that education is the cornerstone of building the future of individuals and societies.

Al-Bassam added that there are many talented students whose dreams have been halted due to their inability to pay tuition fees. He noted that Namaa Charity launched the "We Want to Teach Them" campaign, from which the "Teach Me, I Will Reward You" project is based. With the aim of restoring hope to these students and securing their academic and professional futures.

He continued, "One of the most painful scenes is seeing students deprived of their right to education due to their inability to pay tuition fees. This is what we seek to address through this blessed project. Education is not a luxury, but rather a necessity for building generations capable of advancing their societies."

Al-Bassam emphasized that through this strategic partnership, the General Secretariat of Endowments plays a key role in supporting the education sector by directing endowment funds to those entitled to them, in accordance with the donors' conditions. Students are selected based on precise criteria that ensure support reaches the neediest groups, as he stated in his interview.

Al-Bassam said, "This partnership is not merely cooperation; it is a model of integrated work that serves Kuwait Vision 2035 and the Sustainable Development Goals. Through supporting education, we aspire to build an informed generation capable of giving and contributing to the renaissance of their country."

In concluding his remarks, Al-Bassam extended his thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this project, emphasizing that investing in education is one of the greatest forms of charitable giving. He called on everyone to participate in supporting needy students and contribute to building a brighter future for future generations.
