Namaa Charity implements humanitarian and development projects in Tanzania

Kuwait's Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, implemented humanitarian and development projects in the United Republic of Tanzania to empower individuals, achieve sustainable development, and reach the most vulnerable groups.

Khaled Al-Shamari, Head of Projects and Relief at Namaa, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Thursday that such initiatives stem from Namaa's vision of combining urgent relief with sustainable development, aligning with the United Nations' goals and achieving a tangible impact on the lives of beneficiaries.

Al-Shamari explained that the campaign included the distribution of 950 food baskets, benefiting 4,750 people from the most vulnerable families, supporting food security and reducing poverty and hunger. Additionally, 50 sacrificial animals were distributed, benefiting 200 families, to promote healthy nutrition and reinforce the values of human solidarity. He noted that the foundation stone was laid for a secondary school project, a significant step in supporting education, reducing school dropout rates, and building a generation capable of contributing to the development of their community. He added that the visit included an inspection tour of the Kaf Complex and the Namaa Educational Center to observe the educational process and to organize a group breakfast for 590 beneficiaries at the Al-Rahma Development Complex.

He emphasized that these efforts are part of Namaa Charity's strategy to transition from temporary relief to sustainable development, focusing on the most vulnerable groups and promoting human dignity in cooperation with partners.
