Namaa implements a humanitarian project to support Syrian refugees in Türkiye

Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, implemented its humanitarian project, "Be a Help to Them," to alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees and displaced persons in Turkey. The project included the distribution of 207 food baskets and heating fuel to 420 families.

The Marketing Director at Namaa Charity stated, "The humanitarian situation for Syrian refugees remains dire. Thousands of families suffer from limited income, high prices for basic necessities, and scarce job opportunities, in addition to the challenges of the harsh winter, which exacerbates the suffering of children and the elderly living in tents and temporary shelters."

He added that the food baskets distributed by the charity to Syrian refugee families represent vital support that helps secure basic food needs at a time when many families are unable to provide for their daily sustenance.

Al-Sanea explained that these food baskets are not merely supplies, but a message of solidarity that restores some peace of mind to families burdened by the hardships of displacement. He pointed out that the cold in the camps poses a real threat to the health of the residents, especially children, the sick, and the elderly, given the poor living conditions. He stressed that providing fuel for heating is an urgent humanitarian necessity that contributes to preventing cold-related illnesses and preserves a degree of warmth and stability for families.

Al-Sanea stated that the scale of the need remains significant and that Namaa's interventions come in response to a humanitarian reality that requires continued support and concerted efforts. He emphasized that the project embodies Namaa's commitment to its mission of reaching the most vulnerable groups and working to alleviate their suffering through well-planned relief programs that take into account urgent priorities.

He affirmed the association's continued commitment to implementing its relief and development projects to support Syrian refugees, calling on philanthropists to continue their generosity, as their contributions represent true hope for families awaiting a helping hand during the most difficult stages of their lives.
