Namaa Charity implements the "Iftar for Fasting People" project in 11 African countries

Kuwait's Namaa Charity Association implemented its "Iftar for the Fasting" project in 11 African countries, benefiting more than 60,000 people as part of its humanitarian programs during the holy month of Ramadan. The project aimed to enhance food security and support the most vulnerable families.

Khaled Al-Shamari, Head of the Development and Relief Sector at the association, stated in a press release that the project included the distribution of more than 24,000 Iftar meals to approximately 24,000 fasting individuals, in addition to more than 6,400 food baskets that benefited around 36,000 people in countries including Sudan, Chad, Somalia, Kenya, and Tanzania.

Al-Shamari explained that the project was implemented based on field studies to identify the most vulnerable groups and in coordination with accredited organizations to ensure the efficient and transparent delivery of aid. He affirmed the association's commitment to continuing its relief programs in areas most affected by difficult living conditions.
