Namaa Charity: 16,000 beneficiaries of the Iftar project in Yemen
Namaa Charity, a Kuwaiti charity affiliated with the Social Reform Society, concluded its Ramadan Iftar project, which benefited approximately 16,000 Yemeni citizens across several governorates. The project provided both food baskets and Iftar meals.
Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim, Head of Communications at Namaa Charity, stated that the project's implementation was based on a thorough field study that considered the needs of beneficiary families, ensuring the equitable and organized distribution of food aid. He added that the project included both ready-made meals and food baskets to maximize the benefit for recipients during Ramadan.
Al-Ibrahim explained that this project reflects Namaa Charity's commitment to its humanitarian mission of supporting the most vulnerable groups, particularly in areas facing dire humanitarian conditions. He noted that the project was implemented in partnership with trusted and accredited local organizations, a crucial element in ensuring efficient execution and a sustainable impact.
He further stated that "the project embodies the spirit of Islamic solidarity and reflects the support of Kuwaiti philanthropists, whose generosity has had a significant impact on bringing joy to thousands of Yemeni families."
For their part, Abubakr Bin Brik, Executive Director of Al-Sabeel Foundation for Development, and Magdi Harhara, Executive Director of Al-Rifqa Association, expressed in their statements their appreciation for the integrated model partnership with Namaa Charity and its support for implementing projects aimed at alleviating the suffering of the most needy families during the month of Ramadan, appreciating the humanitarian initiatives led by Namaa and its partners with the aim of promoting the values of solidarity and compassion and touching the needs of thousands of needy families during the holy month.
Namaa Charity continues to support Gaza residents by distributing food baskets, benefiting 1,000 people.
