Namaa Charity distributes 3,080 Ramadan food baskets in several Egyptian governorates

Kuwait's Namaa Charity announced on Saturday the distribution of 3,080 Ramadan food baskets as part of a humanitarian campaign across several Egyptian governorates, aiming to assist approximately 12,000 families during the holy month of Ramadan.

Khaled Al-Shamari, Head of the Development and Relief Sector at Namaa Charity, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the campaign also included the distribution of 1,800 kilograms of meat, benefiting 900 families, totaling nearly 3,600 individuals. This initiative aims to enhance food security and bring joy to needy families during Ramadan.

Al-Shamari explained that the campaign also provided direct support to 50 needy families, benefiting 200 individuals. He added that the total number of families benefiting from these efforts reached 4,130, comprising 16,520 individuals. He added that, as part of its community empowerment campaign, the association provided marriage assistance to 36 young women to support their stability and the establishment of new families. It also settled the debts of 100 families burdened by debt, benefiting approximately 400 individuals. This contributed to easing their financial burdens and enabling them to begin a new phase of stability.

He noted that direct support was provided to 50 needy families, totaling 200 beneficiaries. He pointed out that the total number of families benefiting from these efforts reached 4,130, with an approximate number of beneficiaries reaching 16,520.

Al-Shamri affirmed that the Namaa Charitable Association will continue implementing development and relief projects targeting the most vulnerable families in Egypt, ensuring that support reaches those who deserve it efficiently and transparently, and reinforcing the values ​​of social solidarity.
