Namaa Charity: Delivering drinking water to 5,000 people in need in Tanzania

Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, announced the completion of a project to drill 10 artesian wells in Tanzania, benefiting approximately 5,000 people. This initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to deliver clean water to the most vulnerable areas and achieve a sustainable humanitarian impact in impoverished villages.

Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim, Head of Communications at Namaa Charity, told KUNA on Wednesday, "These wells have contributed to providing clean drinking water for residents in several remote villages that were suffering from severe water scarcity."

Al-Ibrahim explained that "the project not only provided water but also contributed to improving the health and living conditions of the residents." He added that "providing a single well can transform the lives of an entire community and open up broader horizons for stability and education."

He further stated that many areas in Tanzania still lack the most basic necessities of life, especially clean water, and affirmed Namaa Charity's commitment to continuing its water projects, considering them among the most impactful and sustainable humanitarian initiatives.

He stressed that “Kuwaiti charitable work will remain present in various parts of the world despite the challenges and crises, thanks to the support of the people of Kuwait and their continuous giving,” extending “thanks to the donors who were partners in this achievement that restored hope to thousands of beneficiaries.”
