On the occasion of World Cancer Day, which falls on February 4th of each year, Namaa Charity, part of the Social Reform Society, affirmed its commitment to continuing its efforts to treat cancer patients through the "Hope" project, which targets residents unable to afford medication. The project is being implemented in partnership with the General Secretariat of Endowments and the Positive Support Foundation, in addition to the recently signed partnership agreement with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in Jordan.
Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, announced during a press conference held in the presence of Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy CEO of Namaa Charity, and Nasser Al-Khader, representative of the General Secretariat of Endowments, the beneficiaries of the "University Student Sponsorship" project for the first semester of the current academic year. The number of beneficiaries during the first semester of the current academic year reached approximately 816 male and female students, while approximately 3,972 male and female students have benefited from the project since its launch. This pioneering project is a model of strategic partnership between charitable and governmental institutions, and aims to support university students who are financially unable to complete their education.
Volunteer work is the greatest form of humanity, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and solidarity within communities. In this context, the establishment of the Namaa Charity Center for Volunteer Work, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, was established as a beacon to ignite the flame of sustainable giving and develop a culture of volunteer work, making it a way of life and a source of community strength.
Namaa Charity, part of the Social Reform Society, has begun implementing several relief projects in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The charity distributed food baskets to the most needy families, benefiting more than 1,000 beneficiaries. It also distributed halal-earning projects, including fishing boats and tuk-tuks.
