On these blessed days, we commemorate a dear and precious memory: September 9, 2014, when the United Nations, through its then Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, honored His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God have mercy on him, as a "Leader of Humanitarian Action" and designated Kuwait as a "Center of Humanitarian Action." It was a remarkable historic moment that remains a beacon for generations and proof that giving, when coupled with values and principles, transforms into a solid identity and an eternal medal upon the chest of nations.

As part of Namaa Charity's commitment to the Social Reform Society to promote humanitarian initiatives with a sustainable impact, and in line with its mission to serve the community, it has announced the implementation of several quality health projects. These projects represent a practical response to the needs of a group of patients suffering from chronic diseases within the State of Kuwait, particularly those with multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Saeed Marzouq Al-Ateeibi, Chief Executive Officer of Nama’a Charity under the Social Reform Association, affirmed that the strategic partnership between Nama’a and the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy in the “WAFIR” (Save) campaign embodies the true role of social responsibility in serving the nation. It strengthens collaboration between state institutions and the charitable sector in promoting a culture of conservation and resource preservation.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Social Reform Association (Nama’a Charity) have signed an agreement to empower Syrian refugees through the provision of a cash grant to support their return and reintegration in Syria. The agreement was signed at the charity headquarters in Kuwait by Nasreen Rabee’an, UNHCR Representative in Kuwait, and Saad Al-Otaibi, CEO of Nama’a Charity affiliated with the Social Reform Association.
In a move that reflects the spirit of community integration and cooperation between the government and civil sectors, the Athar Center for Volunteer Work, affiliated with the Nama Charity Association, hosted an expanded meeting organized by correctional institutions as part of the "Sandhom" initiative. Representatives from the Ministry of Interior, charitable organizations, the Human Rights Office, the United Nations Office, and a number of partners and stakeholders attended.
Walid Al-Bassam, Head of the Projects and Development Sector at Namaa Charity at the Social Reform Society, said on the sidelines of his visit, accompanied by charitable associations and charities, to the Central Prison to review Namaa Charity projects and discuss establishing other projects.
