As part of its humanitarian mission and ongoing efforts to localize charitable work within Kuwait, Namaa Charity, affiliated with the Social Reform Society, launched a unique initiative to distribute winter clothing vouchers to needy families. This initiative empowers them to meet their winter needs in a way that suits their circumstances and preserves their human dignity. The vouchers are distributed through a local market, targeting 1,000 families within Kuwait.

In a scene reflecting the maturity of the Gulf experience in reform work, and the State of Kuwait’s keenness to consolidate the humanitarian dimension in the justice system, the General Administration of Correctional Institutions at the Ministry of Interior hosted the activities of the Unified Gulf Week for Inmates, with a wide official, human rights and community presence, which embodied the integration of roles between security and human rights institutions and civil society, and confirmed that true reform begins with the individual and ends with the stability of society.
